It has rained quite a bit since the first gameplay of Cities XL, the game developed by the French studio Monte Cristo that in some way aims to be a spiritual successor to the legendary sim city 4, and this Christmas I gave him a little cane taking advantage of the fact that I had more free time. Once again, delayed recording, because unfortunately this game is not compatible with my Windows 10, so I had to play it on my old Windows Vista. In turn, Twitch Studio is not suitable for such old operating systems, so it was not possible to broadcast live from our Twitch channel.
On this occasion, I have focused on what I have decided from the beginning will be my world capital: Capitalópolis. The objectives were clear: reach half a million inhabitants, expand the urbanizable areas, develop the different economic sectors, even in an eclectic way, and outline the public transportation network.
In the third installment (if there is one) I propose to reach one million inhabitants, continue with the development of public transport, make the city grow not only quantitatively, but qualitatively (that is, decorate it and make it more presentable, which is a bit soulless) and, above all, specialize in office services to export them to the rest of the cities, which generally tend to be short on that service.
You can see this gameplay, as well as the rest of the ones we have been uploading, in our YouTube channel.
