The LEGO games developed by TT Fusion are a constant in the catalog of any console of the latest generations. There are many famous characters and sagas that have been brought to video games by this company (Star Wars, Indiana Jones, The Hobbit, Avengers, Batman, Pirates of the Caribbean, Harry Potter…) and their games are counted in dozens.
The LEGO play style is usually very casual and focused on eliminating small enemies, destroying elements of the stage and using pieces to build again. LEGO games are very fun to play in company and They have a very particular sense of humor.
I admit that I have only played a few of the LEGO Star Wars and although I liked them, I didn't feel interested in playing the rest (well, the lego batman It did catch my attention, but in the end I didn't buy it). However, when I saw that they announced the LEGO Jurassic World and on top of that this included the 4 films of the saga jurassic parkI didn't hesitate to buy it.
The game begins by giving us the choice between playing jurassic park either Jurassic World. As soon as we complete the movies, they will be unlocked The Lost World and Jurassic Park III.
The representation of the characters and scenes from each film are brilliantly recreated. The sense of humor will be a constant and will give very stupid moments, especially when they have to represent the most violent moments of the films, which obviously, here are replaced by something much more innocent.
He Being able to play the 4 movies, control their characters and then replay the game to be able to unlock extras and more characters is the great incentive of LEGO Jurassic World, which also has the detail of being dubbed into Spanish (at least in its PAL version).
The number of unlockables to find is extremely large (in fact, it is too large... I doubt that many people will complete the game 100%) but some of those objects to look for will allow us unlock and customize dinosaurs, which is one of the most interesting additions. As a general rule, we will not be able to get most of the hidden objects when we play the story mode, but we will be able to do so when we have completed it and we can replay it by choosing the characters we want.
Each character has their own abilities and that will allow them to access exclusive areas or find hidden items. For example Alan Grant (jurassic park) can use his raptor claw to cut ropes and can dig in the ground, Nick Van Owen (The Lost World) can use his wrench to pick locks and Erick Kirby (the boy from Jurassic Park III) can camouflage itself, enter through trapdoors, throw T.Rex urine to scare away dinosaurs and search through excrement.
There are many characters, but not all of them are equally useful, so that once you are trying to unlock extras, you will most likely have your favorites and leave aside 80% of them, who are only there to be funny (and many of them are not even that, since they are generic characters without a name, like a worker or a scientist from INGEN).
After more than 40 licensed games in LEGO format, any player already knows what they are going to find when playing one, since they all work exactly the same. The good taste in the mouth that the LEGO Star Wars ended up becoming a constant and resounding repetition of the same formula.
In this specific game This formula even suffers a worsening, since there are hardly any small enemies to fight against and the largest enemies (Raptors, Tyrannosaurus) will attack us Quick Time Events, repetitive and of little interest. Even fights between dinosaurs will develop in the same way. In other words, The most epic moments have become repeating button combinations until the game is satisfied.
The lack of common enemies and the very boring confrontations against dinosaurs son solo una muestra de la insultante facilidad del juego.
