There are few games that manage to hook me enough to make me park the game. Awesomenauts and dedicate time to them, and the last one to achieve it has been Transistor.
Supergiant Games, a study that already won the hearts of many of us in 2011 with Bastion, returned to the fray three years later with Transistor, this great isometric view RPG set in the futuristic city of Cloudbank. Everything starts quickly, without much introduction, since a big part of the fun of the game is discovering what happened so that everything starts as it does, which is not exactly good. Red, a singer whose voice has been stolen, wakes up in the middle of the street next to a lifeless body in which the Transistor is found nailed., the enormous sword that will accompany us throughout the journey and that will play the role of narrator of the story in a way.

Once we have the Transistor with us we will begin to walk the streets of Cloudbank in search of answers. Things start to get ugly when we not only discover Not only that the only people we find are dead, but there are also different robotic enemies called Processes that will try to kill us. And this is where another interesting part of the game comes in: the battle system. As we progress we gain new attack skills that we can configure according to our fighting mode. And not only that, but also We have the option to stop time to prepare a combination of attacks as if it were a dance which Red will then execute automatically. This adds an additional tactical factor, since after executing these prepared attacks we will be at a disadvantage for a few seconds without being able to use skills, so we have to think carefully about what and how we are going to do it. Taking into account that we have different types of abilities such as damage from behind, summoning a helper dog, creating a package bomb or even temporary control of the enemy, using each of them in the most effective way possible will make our journey much easier.

AND We cannot forget the impressive artistic section, both visual and musical. A captivating atmosphere, colors that leave you looking at the screen with fascination, immersive and magical music... it has everything a game needs to make me completely fall in love with it regardless of its gameplay. In short, a delight for the senses.
If after what you have read the game catches your attention, You currently have it for €18.99 on Steam Although as always, for the less impatient, it is best to wait for some sales and buy it for 25% of its original price. So now you know, get ready to put yourself in Red's shoes, discover who and why they stole your voice and find out what the hell is happening in Cloudbank accompanied at all times by the Transistor. Well, not at all times...
