The film wastes no time on long introductions. Once the group enters the swamp, the action becomes constant. The characters try to defend themselves with shotguns, machetes, and makeshift traps, but Victor seems unstoppable. Fog, stagnant water, and dense vegetation turn the bayou into a deadly labyrinth where every step could be your last. Marybeth, now more hardened, becomes the group's makeshift leader, while Reverend Zombie reveals that he has personal reasons for hating Crowley.
